Our senior hurlers were victorious in the Mid Senior Hurling Final beating Holycross Ballycahill on a scoreline of 1-29 to 0-25. After what was a monumental battle throughout, we were two points down as the clock ticked to injury time of normal time, but two late points in injury time by John McGrath and Noel McGrath sent the game to extra time. We gained great momentum in the second half of extra time and a great contribution by sub Liam Treacy who grabbed the goal to put enough daylight between the teams to see the game out. Well done to all involved! Congratulations to Noel McGrath who was awarded the Man of the Match.

 

Our Junior C hurlers took on Holycross Ballycahill on Friday night at 7:30pm in Holycross but came up just short, losing out on a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-16 in favour of Holycross Ballycahill.

Our Junior A hurlers are back out in Round 2 of the Mid Junior A Hurling Championship against neighbours JK Brackens, on Sunday 19th July at 12pm in Templemore.

Well done to our U8 teams that played against Holycross at half time of the Mid Senior Hurling Final against Holycross Ballycahill.
